Macomb Academy for Digital Educators

Supporting Digitally Innovative Educators since 2014*

BLENDED AND PERSONALIZED LEARNING ACADEMY

Welcome to MADE - Macomb ISD's premier professional development for training blended learning educators in Macomb County, Michigan. Our mission is to support K-12 educators of all grade levels as they shift from a "classroom" where students are passive consumers of technology toward students who utilize technology to become active creators, critical thinkers and communicators.  We use the ISTE Standards for Educators as a major source of guidance.

What's new for 2024-25?

Blended Learning Certification

This is a FREE certification program for Macomb County, Michigan educators. The program promotes and supports the pedagogy of technology integration using the resources educators already have as well other resources available to make classroom use of technology more effective. Educators who are 1:1 with technology are especially encouraged to participate, however participants do NOT need to be technology experts. All technology skill levels are welcome!

Participants working toward MADE Certification will work independently through four online courses completing tasks that will directly apply to their professional situation (no busy work!).

Courses open June 1, 2024 and close August 1, 2025.  Work at your own pace. Register anytime, however

to get the most out of this year's networking opportunities, please register by August 15, 2024.
